Poodle purchaed this bouncy castle for Boncie for his 3rd Birthday........we can only imagine the reaction he'll have on the day of his Birthday when he sees it!!

Boncie insisted on visiting the Zoo this week. He made friends with this Kangaroo who had a joey in her pouch. She was more interested in Boncie's packet of Twisties than her Joey! One of Boncie's fave. animals at the Zoo

R.I.P Grover Jackson Joseph Jullius George

Our Beatiful Grover had to be put to sleep today. Friday morning we woke up to find him limping. We took him to the Vet on Friday and she x-rayed his back leg. The results showed a clean break in his femur bone. We were referred to an Orthopaedic Surgeon who gave us the sad news today that Grover had Bone Marrow Cancer which was weakening his bones. He could have an operation to amputate his leg and receive a series of chemo treatments to prolong his life for 6 months, however in the end the cancer would reach his lungs and he’d have to be put down.

We ended up making the hard decision to have him put to rest there and then as opposed to prolonging the inevitable and keeping him alive a little longer with less a quality of life.

We told Boncie what happened and he. He said, “I don’t want my Grovey to be gone, I love him and he’s my dog dog” BLESS!!

Poor Dog Dog has broken his femur (thigh bone). We have no idea how he did it, he went to bed Thursday evening and was fine, then he woke up Friday morning limping. The Vet thinks there is something wrong with his femur, either a bone infection or a tumour. He’s off to the Orthopaedic Surgeon tomorrow for a biopsy to see if his bone has an infection or a tumour. If it is an infection he’ll have a course of antibiotics and have to have an operation to pin his femur. If it is a tumour, he’ll have to have his leg amputated. The Vet reassured us that he’d be fine getting around on three legs.

For now he’s got his leg bandaged and he’s sleeping off the aesthetic.

Sun Smart!

Being 30 deg. cel. this weekend, we thought we best slip, slop, slap!! We managed to get the hat on and tshirt on, however the sunscreen bottle broke when we tried to squeeze some creme out!!!!!!!! Still cream everywhere made Boncie's day!!!!

Cheeky Santa

Boncie doing a spot of modelling for this year's Christmas cards!! Poodle thought I was being a little too organised in getting these done now! However it is only 9 weeks until Christmas so I want to get the personalised cards, wine bottles, stubbie holders etc. all sorted before the Christmas rush! And yes, I have all my Chrismtas gift shoppings completed!! And the Christmas cake, pudding and mince all made!!!! Now I can sit back and relax as the shops get a little more crazy by the week!!!!! Note: the suit is a little tight!! You can't see in the pics. but I cut the toes off the suit as this suit is the one he wore on his second and third Xmas!! Think next year we'll need to get a bigger one!!
