- I grew up in Melbourne and lived in London for a few years where I met the love of my life, my now Hubbie and Father of our beautiful son. I work from home part time and lead a happy life. I have a passion for creating, be it baking, sewing, knitting or anything crafty. I bake many cakes for special events. I love to find vintage outfits at Op Shops and also love to create something from nothing - love to purchase anything from an Op Shop and turn it into something special.

wow this is so fantastic - you are so good at these. I need some help and advice for a cake for belle. evrything I look at looks too difficult. I wasthinking aboutb making some square 'bricks'
Thanks Spangles. Do you have any cake books with ideas in them of cakes you'd like to make?
I have to say I use to think that the pictures of all the cakes in the cake books looked tricky but they are more time consuming as opposed to hard.
Happy to give advice/help, anytime. Wish I was there to make the cake with you and be at Belle's party.
I have checked my cake books and I don't have anything 'brick' like. you could always make the cake in the shape of the number 1.
Poodle and I were just talking about possibly coming over for Belle's 2nd Birthday......will let you know - we may come earlier in summer time as we would prefer the warmer weather so perhaps June/July or even August.
So lovely to talk to you both, Belle is beautiful.
