Anzac Day March

Each year we March with GG Pups at the Anzac Day March in the CBD. GG Pups was in WWII, in the Navy. He was on HMAS Arunta - pictured below. Once the war was over she was sold to the Japanese for scrap metal. The diggers were not impressed naturally, having just fought the Japanese; the day before she was due to sail to Japan she was sunk in Australian waters!! Ironic or not ;-)HMAS Arunta, derived from the Arrernte native people fron central Australia. The Arunta was a Tribal-class destroyer commissoned in 1942. Here is the flag of the Arunta at the March today. Boncie heading into the CBD on the toot toot for the March!!
