Each year we March with GG Pups at the Anzac Day March in the CBD. GG Pups was in WWII, in the Navy. He was on HMAS Arunta - pictured below. Once the war was over she was sold to the Japanese for scrap metal. The diggers were not impressed naturally, having just fought the Japanese; the day before she was due to sail to Japan she was sunk in Australian waters!! Ironic or not ;-)

How old is your granddad now? He must have been very young going into the war?
My great uncle was in ww1 (his dad in ww2-my great grandfather), he's still with us, i think his son marches, i might have to go next year and march with them...Boncie (lol) is just adorable!
