Cardy for Boncie

I've started knitting this pure wool cardy for Boncie. I've completed the back and the pockets, now onto the front left hand panel. This cardy has brown wooden toggles to do it up and a hood which has teddy bear ears and a face....toooooo cute and I love knitting with real wool, beats acyrlic that's for sure..........

couldn't agree with you more regarding your comments re: real wool; not only does it feel far better to knit with but, if you are knitting clothes, it feels far better to wear! I love knitting with cashmere blended wool and merino is also nice. A lot of the time I also knit with pure cotton. Do you get Debblie Bliss wools out there? They are lovely -and I also love her baby clothes patterns

I've never knitted with cotton, I'll have to give that a go next. I have not heard of Debblie Bliss wools - I'll check and see if we have them over here the next time I'm at my wool shop. I LOVE merino wool, I've not knitted with it yet but have a few items of clothing knitted from it and they are so warm and soft. I'm knitting with a Flecheaton wool I think at the moment which is nice, it is not as prickly as some wools can be. Ohhh I like the sound of cashmere also, sounds extra soft and cuddly.
