Let's Get Knitting

It's freezing outside, the central heating is turned all the way up - the perfect conditions for knitting. Got out my knitting bag today and started knitting Boncie some Bananas in PJ's slippers. Ms Mobble Gobble's lovely Mum passed on the hand written pattern to me, so honoured. So have nearly completed the first slipper. My lovely Parents-In-Laws sent me this cute card as they know I love to knit
Dusted off knitting needles and wool - the handwritten patterns from Maurene
The first slipper, still WIP but nearly done. Watch this space for the completed project shortly. The second pattern that Maurene gave me is for bananas in PJ's coat hanger covers. Jelly's Mumma gave us two of Maurene's hand made coat hangers when Boncie was born. He LOVES these coat hangers and won't allow anything to be hung on them as he cannot see their body if they are used to hang up clothes! They are sitting up on his toy shelf, pride of place!!

i love the look (so far!) of these. I think Belle may need a pair when she is older!!! Do you put non-slip things on the bottom for Boncie on the wooden floors?

I will be sure to make a pair for Belle. Good idea about the non-slip things, where do I get those from? I will check out our large craft chain and see if they have any such thing that I can sew/iron on.

Not sure about the non-slip things. I guess you could get little gel spots which you would use under ornaments to stop them sliding and scratching - they are probably self-sticking. Alternatively you could maybe sew an inner sole to the bottom or perhaps the base of an old pair of slippers. Let me know if you find anything in craft store as this would be useful to know for future
