Buttons, glorious buttons

I love buttons, all sizes, all colours, they are just beautiful. I remember when I was growing up my Mum had a huge jar of buttons and I ALWAYS loved to play with them. I would try and see how many of the same colour I could find, or how many of the same button I could find - I would while away hours doing this. So needless to say, as a grown up I still love my buttons. Not so much to play with anymore but to use in my many creations. Introducting my button jar!

Mans Best Friend

This is our dog dog (as Boncie calls him) AKA - Grover. Full name, Grover Joseph Jackson Julius George. He's is mans BF, he is so spoilt - he sleeps on the leather chesterfields, never sleeps outdoors, has a Xmas dinner exactly the same as us off his own china plate :-) It's a dogs life in this abode!!

He came to us from the RSPCA at the age of 4 months and he has just kept growing!

He's wonderful with Boncie, for such a large dog dog and is very much part of our family.

It's so lovely to see a little boy and his dog! Such a special bond and it's so good having pets for kids to grow up with. Boncie has two cats, a dog, in door fish and outdoor fish. It gives him a sense of responsibility and he is very gentle with them - through trial and error though!! Poor Meow 1 - her tail has been pulled far too many times :-)

A very young Poodle with you guessed it......Chris DeBerg....in Pampalona - quite fitting, lady in red, Chris DB, bulls, mattador with red cloth.........okay pretty far out punn.....you will have to excuse me for that!!

Still got that creative feeling!!

Still got that creative feeling so what better to do than....create, whipped these little kittys (and bunny) up on a lazy Sunday arvo. Started with a trip to my local Op Shop, purchaesd a few scarfs, drew free hand on some baking paper the design and whaaalaaaaaa you have two cute kittys and one cuddly bunny. My Son loves the paisley pussy and my dear friend Mummy Manda will love the blue kitty.

You just gotta create!! Introducing my version of a Bubuskha doll! She was too easy to make, no need for even a pattern she was that easy!

Also made these I heart bunting flags - again, like Babushka, they were a synch,.

My Boys

My boys - Boncie my beautiful son, Poodle my delicious husband and Grover Joseph Jackson Julius George I - Boncie loves his dog dog and his new penguin PJ's - so much so he insists on wearing them everywhere - including nursery :-) Come to think of it, I would like to wear my PJ's to work!!

Miss you Rach

Went to a service to celebrate the life of one of our dear friends, Rach. Rach was taken from us early last week in a terrible car accident.

The service was so lovely, yet so sad - so hard to say goodbye. So many people there who were lucky enough to have had this special lady in their lives, including us.

Thank you for being you, Rach!!

Love you and will miss you our dear friend xxxx (monkey face to you)
